The Benefits of Membership with the Georgetown Alumni Association

In his role as a physician with Rehabilitation Associates of the Midwest in Palatine, Illinois, Dr. Peter Blendonohy focuses on caring for patients in need of rehabilitative therapies while also functioning as a member of the center’s teaching staff. Prior to his work with Rehabilitation Associates of the Midwest, Dr. Peter Blendonohy attended Georgetown University, where he earned his bachelor of science in psychology.

To encourage former students to stay connected with the school after graduation, Georgetown University offers members of its alumni community the following useful benefits through the Georgetown University Alumni Association.

1. Savings on financial and consumer services. Alumni have the option of opening special checking, savings, and credit card accounts through the university, and can also receive discounted rates on certain forms of insurance.

2. Access to the Georgetown Alumni House. Located about one block from the campus, the Alumni House provides former students with a place to meet and network with their peers, view memorabilia from their alma mater, and attend special events.

3. Influence the next generation of students. Alumni who participate in Georgetown’s Alumni Admissions Program can volunteer to interview first-year and transfer applicants to the University, giving them the opportunity to help select future graduates of the prestigious school.
